Getting to know Sawyer!

I told myself I was going to blog every week which is a good thing cause I like to post pictures so it reminds me to take pictures of things that I thing people would like to see. So here is what I have for you this week.
I never blogged about Sawyers room. So let me just tell you how much I love it and how it only took me one week from finding out she was a girl to get her bedding and paint it. The frames on the wall is left over trim we didn't use down stairs so I just painted and made Russell make them into frames.

So the first two nights of Sawyer being home I spent in that chair determined not to let her sleep with me in bed. Ya it lasted two days and then my back hurt so bad I couldn't stand it.

I love looking at all of Sawyer's flowers and bows and thinking of all the different options I have. Plus I am a little proud of thinking about half of them I made myself.

These are wings in her room that represent the wings and halo she gave up to come to earth and be a part of my family. I am so grateful she made that choose and choose us!

So I have to show you her closet to help you see how truly spoiled this girl is. Between Russell, Keytin, and I she still has more cloths. No worries though they are other peoples who are lending them to me. I truly have only probably bought maybe 15 things for her!!

Just some random pictures.

We were at Nana Hatch's and I put Sawyer in the bassinet for the first time and Keytin had to show me the bears and yes he is only in his underwear. If you came by any day of the week to our house this is how he would be then. When he goes potty he has to get completely naked and I just don't have the energy to find his cloths and chase him around to get them back on. So yes my son only wears underwear unless we are leaving the house.

I had to get a close up of Keytin's new cheese face. Most of the time one of his eyes is closed. It is funny cause I don't know any almost 3 yr old who can wink with both eyes but Keytin can. He just doesn't know he is doing it!

I love taking pictures of Sawyer when she is awake because her eyes already amaze me and how big and beautiful they are!! Plus they get even bigger when she is taking a bath.

It's funny how the first bath they scream and scream this is now around her 30th bath and now she just hangs out and enjoys the water!

New Addition!

So I am retarded and don't know how to make my pictures go in order but I figure your just happy to see the pictures at all. So here we go.
Right when we got home I had to take a picture to have on record how small Sawyer looks in her car seat!

Keytin thought it was so funny to make mom cover him so he didn't have to get his picture taken.

Sawyer was so tired she didn't mind being naked. She already loves being sprawled out.

We are trying to keep Keytin busy and Russell always comes up with the greatest things. He thought it was so great to even grade the cheese.

So this was the first time Sawyer ever nursed. If you can't tell I was super excited I still can't belive how much easier this pregnancy was.

They had just weight her and I was just getting her back. Sawyer arrived at 3:26 am after pushing 4 times because she only weight 6.9 compaired to Keytin's 8.1. She was 19.5 inch. long.

Our first family picture with the new arrival! My mom and dad watched Keytin for us and of coarse at 7:30 am my mom and Kenzie were at the hospital with Keytin. I am so grateful for my family and how supportive they are.

So I have seen this being done where you take a stuffed animal and every month take another picture just so you can see how much they have grown. So her is Sawyer with her Bear that goes with her room.

Keytin loves his niece and nephew so much. He could have cared less about his new sister and long as he could play with his best friends.

Spring Fun

Keytin has seen dad spraying so he had to do it too. So we got him his very own and filled it with water and let him go at it. So on Easter he had to show the family how big he is.

Keytin and Deja love to give each other loves. The only problem is they lose there balance really easy.

Tried to get a family picture on Easter. Between my husband making funny faces and my son not wanting to hold still it can get pretty challenging!!

I had to get some bills paid on the computer so I put Toy Story on and gave Keytin Jessie and Woody and went into the kitchen to pay the bills and 20 min later I went and checked on him and this is how I found him. If you can't tell. He loves his Toy Story pals!!

I love watching Keytin when Russell is cutting his hair. He gets so relaxed and tired.

We went to a dutch oven cookout with Russell's family. They had a fire pit with Rocks around it. Keytin found one that was just his size. He was so nice and content (for the two seconds it took me to take the picture and then he was off jumping on the tramp and chasing after the kids).

Lily saw him sitting on her rock and decided she was going to take matters in to her own hands to get him off. Luckily her older brother saw the signs and held her back.

Here is Russell cooking on his beloved BBQ for Easter Lunch. He makes amazing Hamburgers.

Child #2

So here is the news I am pregnant and due Oct. 31 so that puts me at 11 weeks right now. I haven't got an ultra sound yet but I will keep you posted. I was going to try to wait as long as we could but this last week I have popped out so fast so here is the news Pregnant with child #2.

Russell working hard & me hardly working!!

So those of you who haven't been in my house I will explain. Half of my basement was already done. The other half was just left for us to finish. If you know Russell he can't just sit home and not have a project. He has told me over and over that we would probably live in our house 2 years before we finish the basement. Well this month it will be 1 yr and the basement is FINISHED!! We had to do some changes to the already build parts like ripping out 2 walls. One cause it closed off the two rooms that meet and the other by the stairs cause we wouldn't be able to get furniture down if we didn't.

This is the one wall that we had to rip out that connected Keytin's toy room and our theater room. As you can see Russell is hard at work.

This is a picture of Keytin's toy room and if you look to the right half of that wall that there is now gone. It really opened up this room a lot more.

Here is were we decided to build a wall to where our bath room will go in later down the road. That door behind Russell is again the wall that is gone.

I have kinda skipped ahead cause the other pictures of the dry wall is really boring so here is Russell cocking all of the trim and doors that we put up. As you can see Keytin is right there the whole time watching ever move Russell makes. He was awesome through this whole period of framing, dry wall, muding , and even painting.

So We have got the carpet in and as you can see the wall is gone, the other wall to the bathroom is up and this display is Keytin's TV ( Russell gave me this TV and entertainment center when we were dating. I painted the entertainment center just to give it a face lift.)

I will put a picture of the theater room when it is ready but I will say it is a light brown with a leather look that we did our self and am so proud of. The reason I want to wait is because our furniture is coming today 3-24-11 and I cant wait to get a full picture of it ( give or take a few items that will come later.)

It shocks me what Russell can do. He is like super man to me. With in a year and remember he was gone 4 months out of that year in Louisiana. But he has built up our yard by hauling himself load after loads of dirt, putting up chain link fence with a cement boarder, sprinklers, grass (front and back), and a ton of gravel. He has also made Mya and amazing dog house for a king and a friend. Finished our basement and next he wants to maybe tackle a deck on the back of our house is summer and still managing to tinker with his truck. Pulling it apart and putting it back together again. He is a mad man. and remember while he is doing all this he is still managing to put in 40- plus hours in at work every week. I love him so much and couldn't imagine my life without him.

Winter 2010

I know I know I have slacked off back but that seems to be my style! So here are some of the winter pictures that I have. One month I will take a lot of pictures and forget to video and then the next I will video a lot and not take as many pictures. This Christmas was a month were I did the video thing.

We decided to go to a Manti game while Russell was out of town and there is were we always end up. Keytin will always find old boys to hang with and lucky all the boys just go with it and make him feel like one of them!!
This is Christmas Eve at the bowling ally. After we eat and Santa comes we get to bowel. This was the first time Keytin bowled. Every one was amazed that his feet fit into the size 9 shoe. I tell people all the time that Keytin is a big boy and for some reason people don't get how big I really mean. He has passed up his cousins that are a yr and even a yr and a half. Not just in height but in weight!. This is all of Russell's work cloths and I cant remember why I throw them on him but Keytin and him really enjoyed the warm cloths. It even knocked them out!!

This is Keytin's Christmas He loved all the toys. The video of him was so funny cause when he walked out and saw everything he just stopped. He didn't know what to think!

We went to Aunt Sonia's house for New Years. Keytin loves playing with his cousins. I don't think he really understood what we were doing all watching the ball drop but he enjoyed almost all of it. Well were all getting ready to leave at 1:00 am and it was way passed all of there bed times cause one of the boys decided to slam Keytin's head into the stairs. He hit his mouth and we left with a big and bloody lip.

Keytin is 2 yrs old. Its is crazy how fast it goes. I look at his baby pictures and cant remember how he changed into a 8lbs 1 ounce baby to a 35lb 2 yr old. His birthday party was all around Toy Story cause he can't get enough of them. That is his favorite movies all three!!

Keytin had just got out of the bath and does his usually run naked around the house but today he decided to grab his Halloween hat and his Easter basket to join him in his run!!So my pictures got kinda scrambled cause this is Christmas eve again. Keytin couldn't get enough of playing the shooting game with dad. He would bowel and then run into the arcade room and we would have to go get him when it was him turn again.

I can say my son did not cry when Santa came he just would not look at him!! I think he figured it he couldn't see him he wasn't there!!

Keytin's Christmas eve present was a tractor that moves forward and back so he would roll it back and forth to dad!

Of coarse I have to put on the funniest picture to show everyone how cute Kenzie truly is.
